![Introducing our newest Free State Drum Co. Artist — Michael “Lint” Higbie ?
From tapping on wooden spoons at just 3 years old to carving out a career across Southern California, Lint’s journey is built on passion, versatility, and experience. By 12, he was already immersed in school band, where marching, concert, and especially jazz shaped his musical foundation.
After high school, his path expanded through RCC drumline, jazz band, and DCI before stepping fully into live rock performance. His band Still September has shared stages with legendary acts like Dramarama, A Flock of Seagulls, Social Distortion, and Stone Temple Pilots, with airplay on KROQ.
Over the past 13 years, Lint has performed with 35+ bands across a wide range of genres, bringing a dynamic and seasoned voice to every stage.
We’re proud to have him representing Free State Drum Co. alongside @symrnacymbals, @nonutscymbalsleeves, @arkdrumsticks , and @sweet_spot_clutches.
